Is anyone aware of where I might find decent constructed freshwater (trout or bass) rod blanks that are pink in color? All on a sudden I have two ladies and one little girl wanting pink fishing rods. I figure pink rods will be hard to find and I will have to most likely learn to paint them myself. Thanks in advance. Re: Pink Rod Blanks

The "Krylon for plastic" paint has been getting good reviews here. Re: Pink Rod Blanks

Rich,
I don't know of any pink blanks, but I know of someone that made a custom pink Lamiglas rod for a gal out in California. If you visit www.stripersonline.com, click on "surf talk" and go to the main forum, you can find a post entitled "Tamiglas recap". I checked today, and right now it's on page 6, but will continue to move back as more topics are posted. You might want to send a private message to Mike, the poster as to how he finished the blank. It came out beautifully. Rich Re: Pink Rod Blanks

I saw some pink ones ones the other day on one of the sponsors site. I just can't seem to find it. Maybe someone else will remember. Re: Pink Rod Blanks

Mudhole has pink blanks in their Specials section. You can also paint!

Mudhole pink blanks are a bit heavy for trout or bass

I did see the ones at Mud Hole but they are saltwater. I guess I will just have to paint them. Thanks everyone for your input. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
