Are the new titans as high as the Fuji concepts in spinning style? I may have to take a look at these.

Plus they are lighter then any plated guides.
Now the delema, If pretty sells, but performance means quality, the only choise in colors I have are black, chrome and the silvery titan color.
The thing I have been pondering is trying to stear people away from the plated " pretty " guides to the more performance concept guides which will give better distance and performance.
I have even stoped coating my handles with a lot of clear so they are not slippery.
But when they are nice and shinny they sell better .

Arthur,
The Titans are a little lower than the Fujis, but taller than the other Am Tack guides. The Fuji Alconite 20 is a about 1/4 inch taller than a 20 Titan.

Is material of Amtak Titan tip-tops plated stainless steel or solid titanium?

Weight Fuji's TFST5 is unique. Isn't it?

Bill

"Matching stainless steel TITAN tops with NanoLite ring"
It is not good. Weight of tip-top is very impossible.

Bill,

I don't know if this will help, but I just got the total frame heights (to the top of the ring) on the Amtak GCSF series single foot guides. Hope this helps in your quest.

GCSF-25 41.0mm
GCSF-20 32.0mm
GCSF-16 26.0mm
GCSF-12 20.5mm
GCSF-10 18.0mm
GCSF-8 14.0mm
GCSF-7 12.7mm
GCSF-6 11.0mm

Thanks for the specs Rich
I am asking cause I want to cut the number of guides I use " on spin rods " to just concept guides. They are way easyer to set up a good line path. The " pretty " all purpose guides can be used but am tired of playing with larger ring sizes to get a decent line path. Don't like the " M's " feel they are too high and tend to get broke easyer.
All one has is the dark , chrome and silvery frame colors in those though.
