St. Croix 09FF-80ML

I'm looking for information/value on a St. Croix rod. It is an 8 or 9 ft., 2 piece, fiberglass rod - Green with Orange wrapping and a cork handle, Model 09FF-80ML

I contacted St. Croix and was told it was a rare model only built for 3 years in the '70s.

Any information - or suggestions of where I can find a St. Croix Collector or group would be appreciated.

THANKS!!

I doubt you're going to realize any profit on that rod. It's not likely to be worth much. Until the late 1980's, St. Croix was often viewed as a maker of medium to low end rods. Their older models aren't exactly being hounded by collectors. Of course, with a few exceptions, most glass rods built in the latter half of the 20th century aren't exactly sought after by most collectors either. Maybe in a few more years.
