Still waiting on the new Rodmaker but did get my Spring issue of Kayak Fisherman today. Woohoo!
On the cover is a guy in foul weather gear fighting a large Calico Bass. He\'s using a stout boat type rod with what look like carbaloy guides on top. Medium/light saltwater casting reel. The rod is heavily loaded and he\'s into a good fish. But after the 3rd guide you see the rest twisted and the result is that the last 4 or 5 have the rod twisted a full 90 degrees. So anyway, if you want a good example to show people how many rods with guides on top can behave when under pressure from a good fish here is a nice example. Not here to start another spiral versus conventional argument, just wanted to point out a nice, large photo of a guy with a rod that is badly twisted due to the load trying to take the line around to the bottom of the rod. Johnathan,
I am into kayaking and had heard that there is a new magazine out on this sport. Would you be so kind as to e-mail me their web site info. My e-mail is: ellisredfish@sbcglobal.net Thanks, Ellis Re: Perfect ad for the spiral wrap

I believe it is Kayakfisherman.com. You may want to do a search on google just to make sure. I got a copy a few days ago. Newsprint type publication. Seems to be a lot of information within.
