Acrylic or synthetic reel seat material

I am trying to find a source for acrylic blanks large enough to use for a size 16 or possible a size 17 reel seat. Most pen blanks in this material are 5/8 x 5/8 x 5 and I don't think they will work. Any help is appreciated.

They have tubes that are 2" And solid rods that are 1". Need them large put a tube over a solid rod
Even a colored tube inside a clear one Play man play
You can even make a mold and make one out of epoxy, also tint it any color you want. Give the epoxy several days and it gets hard.

Just make your own. When the new issue of RodMaker hits, you'll know how.

David, try this web address "www.gpsagencies.com". The site will initially display an ad for alternative ivory. At the bottom of the screen click on "other materials". I think you will be impressed with what they have to offer. Hope this helps.

Tom,

Does the new issue cover the Abalone looking stuff that you had? That stuff was cool! Then again, I have trouble shaping my own grips, not up to shaping my own reel seat inserts yet.

Then just buy what is already made and glue them together.

Thought you were looking to make your own
My mistake

Go though the suppliers on the left
