In search of a blank

I purchased an RX8 6'6" 2 weight 2 piece blank from Batson enterprises and found that I really enjoy the rod built from this blank. Unfortunately, it has been discontinued and I can't find another at the moment. Can anyone give me an idea for a suitable replacement, or a sponsor that might have a couple sitting in their store? Would the Hook and Hackle XT51 be reasonably equivalent? Thanks.

Have you measured your RX8 662 with CCS. That will help. Actually, I heard a rumor that the H&H XT51 in fact IS the RX8 from Rainshadow but I don't know if that's true or not. If it is, you are in luck, they are on closeout at a great price.

I have also noticed that the Forecast line has a 6'6" 2 weight as well. How do these stack up with the old RX8 blanks? I would expect them to be heavier, but are they really a fast action like they have listed?
