This post fell off the first page, since I've recieved a few e-mails this past week, I figure it's easier to just pop this up here to hopefully clear up some of the rumors. [www.rodbuilding.org]
I called GUSA today, and was told the same thing as the last person who posted in teh above thread stated (I believe he is a Manager there, I dunno for sure). They are still moving to YUma, AZ, and their plan is to expand to keep up with the demand for their product, which is casuing the delays in filling order. LArger facility, cheaper rent & etc's. I'm not claiming this is a fact, it is what I've been told by GUSA over the last month, and from a phone call today. Re: More on GUSA

Same thing I was told Billy. Roy and Magaly are my friends besides doing business together. I think the disability thing in Ca. was killing him. Re: More on GUSA

He told me it was San Diego's ever increasing commercial rent. They are not in a cheap part of town not that there is one anymore. Just like Buck knives just left town after decades in SD(they went to Oregen for the same reason.) Re: More on GUSA

I was in their shop yesterday and they are working hard to get the orders out. Then pack it up and going to Yuma. Like Jim and Doc said hard to make ends meet here. Perfect example is Buck Knives. I wish them the best. They are all good people. Re: More on GUSA
