fuji nps reel seat

i purchased a couple of the fuji nps reel seats and would like to know which way to mount...
should i locate the nut and threaded end towards the butt grip or towards the fore grip?

Whichever way is comfortable for you. I prefer the thread to the rear and just "ramp" epoxy and wrap right up to the seat with no foregrip

I mount the threads to the front and find the rear sloping section very comfortable in my hand. It's a matter of personal preference.

Put the seat on with some tape and play with it too see which way you like it

Bryan, if you want, you can try what I did on the last nps seat I mounted with the threads toward the rod tip. I pulled out the reel I was planning on using, mounted it on the seat and tightened it down. then I marked the exposed threads, and then cut off that exposed section. Once the seat was mounted, I put on a very short cork foregrip(really just a tapered section about 1/2in. long.) that was the same diameter as the threads. The threaded reel hood can unscrew over this thing, and once you get the reel on, no threads show.....it's a pretty clean setup.
