Best way to ship over sized blanks. . .

Does anyone have any suggestions on what's the best way to ship 10 foot/120" blanks and finished rods across the country?
I have some new 10 foot Seeker composite"S"glass Ulua93H-10 that I have been asked to ship to Maine, Colorado and Reno from Hemet, CA. Since 9/11, my main shippers, USPS, FedEx and UPS have restricted the shipping of packages over 108". I know that Harnell charged $80 to CA from MO before 9/11 and now I don't think they ship at all.
Mahalo all for your suggestions. . .

Jim; Why don't you give Randy at Seeker a call and see how they ship them. He might even ship them for you...For a price of course.

Jim a package 108"X54" will give you a 120 3/4" diagonal. Could you make that work ? Put the blank in a pvc pipe then in a 9'x4 1/2' box.
Just a thought.

Eh brah where you stay on the Big Island? I lived there '75-'80! I have a place down Waianae, now but live in California. I have to learn how to build one slide bait Ulua rod so I can put on Acid!
Whoa momma, 15' 80-100# Hawaiian surfcaster on Acid, awe!

Aloha Jim
I be on the Kona side. Above the airport 1200'. I read your posts on allcoast from time to time, you do some awsome things. Ulua rod on acid would be awsome but to change the diehard boys over here, don't know. They also use lots of spin cast stuff too. I also have 3 sets of @#$%& rollers to set up for my boat rods, need to find some time.
Heres hoping you may return to the islands soon.
