Budget Kit for Daughter

I'm looking to build a rod for my daughter who is 4'6" and has trouble with her 8'6" rod. She likes my 7'9" 3xt Rainshadow for its length and feel. I am looking for a budget kit less glues such as the Forecast 7'6" rods in either a 4wt or 5wt. The rod will be fished with a 5 wt. Any suggestions on length, rod weight to be fished with a 5 wt line such as Forecast, Matrix or other budget kits would be appreciated. H&H has them on special w/o glues for about $41 and $4 shipping.

Thank you.

Ed,

That H&H kit sounds pretty good! If that doesn't work out for you, give me a call. I can set you up with a similar kit for about the same price.
