QHG - who's it going?

Bogan's in NJ has a good selection of stuff. I think there are a couple of places in S Jersey who have rodbuilding components (one carries GUSA's). Donart & Sea Isle have stuff as well.

Q - You're almost better off asking to meet up with a rodbuilder than finding a component shop.

Tochterman's on Eastern Ave. in Fells Point has some very basic supplies like thread and epoxy, mostly geared for people who need to make a repair. But, they have a rod repair service and are a St. Croix dealer and, most importantly, are super nice people so I'm sure they would order supplies for you if you wanted. When you go, make sure you stop by the Warf Rat on S. Ann street. Three 10 oz. beers for $3 every single day of the year until 7pm. Their own English style ales are all outstanding! Rodbuilders near Baltimore (look in directory) include Ken Preston and Mike Naylor. I'm in Westminster and just do the mailorder thing. If you find something else I don't know about, would you mind letting me know - thanks.

Kevin Bogans shop is in Pt Pleasent,New location across the steet from where he was.His cousin has a shop across the river in Brielle called Brielle Bait and Tackle(Located in Bogan`s Boat basin).IMO Brielle has a better selection and John and Gregg are a pleasure to deal with. This is where I took the initial class to get into rod building and may be the reason I prefer them.
