finishing wraps

When I finish a wrap, I always have a liitle thread end sticking up (I tried a variety of scissors and other items) and I pull hard to try to get the end to slip uderneath. If the end sticks up, how can you remedy the problem?

You can put your first coat of finish on the wrap and then slice off the thread end with a NEW razor blade.

You might want to try and putting your pull through loop into the wrap a bit earlier and then when you go to cut your thread cut it short so that it will stay under you wrap.

When I finish a wrap and pull the thread thru I pull the thread back up the rod and use a razor blade laid almost flat against the wrap facing vertical and cut. I pull back up the thread just hard enough to see a small gap and I have not had a problem with a fuzzy end. I get it to lay nice and flat again with a quick burnish and all is well.
