Extra RodMaker Copy offer

Due to a mis-communication with my printer, I've just paid for an extra 1,000 copies of the most recent issue of RodMaker that I didn't really need nor want. So, I thought I might offer them to those of you who don't subscribe but would like to take a look at a copy. I can't price them as low as those sold in subscriptions (these will have to mail by 1st class which is pretty expensive - about $2 each), but can put them a little less than what the standard back issue copy sells for. So, for $5 ($3 for magazine and $2 mailing) I'll be happy to send you a copy of the latest issue. This saves you $2 off the regular price of a back issue and can help me recover some of the funds spent on issues I won't need anytime soon.

No credit cards or phone orders. Just drop a check, MO or cash (if you feel good about such things) in the mail to: RodMaker 8-2, PO Box 1322, High Point, NC 27261. I'll know what you want and get it right out. I only have 2,500 extras but will continue with this offer until these first 1,000 run out. The next 1,500 will be reserved for regular back issues sales down the road.

This is the Volume 8-2 issue with the articles on the new Cork Grade Scale, The 2005 Rod Builders Show, The Simple Spiral, Tom Dorsey Interview, Lathe/Jig Height Adjustment Tool, Ritz/Gordon Grip Template, and all the other usual departments and stuff.

............

I originally posted this last week. About half of the copies are now gone. I should have enough to honor this offer for another week or so.

The copy I ordered last week arrived today. I have not had time to read it through but did give it a scan before dinner. It appears very well done and with plenty of informational articles. My hat is off to you. Years ago I had taken an older rod building magazine that the folks at Clemens Tackle used to put out. Your's is much better and much more professionally done. I may have made a mistake in waiting so long to have a look at it. Good work guys, keep truckin'.

I'm down to just about 150 copies as of this morning, May 20, so next week will likely be it for this offer. If I get any checks for orders I can't fill, I will return them.
