I have a Lami Surf King and for the price it's quite nice.
It will cast 4-5 oz quite a long way with ease. The guides will handle braided lines just fine. The only drawbacks I see are: The cork grips are applied ( in china i think), a little shody but give you no problems. The handle is a little short for my tastes. Still a good stick ;^) ! I bought one about a year ago and am very happy with it. Considering how much it would cost to build a similar rod, I'd say you couldn't go wrong buying one. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
