HT Metallic thread

I'm in bad need of some advice. Can HT Metallic thread (Size "A") be used as the main guide wrap on a Rainshadow 1265 composite trolling/downrigging rod. I'm not sure that it is strong enough. Re: HT Metallic thread

Yes, I've used it on countless heavy saltwater rods since it came out with no failures Re: HT Metallic thread

As this has been covered several times lately on this board, I have learned that HT Metallic is actually stronger than nylon of the same size. Use it with peace of mind.
