OK its me again, got my sully's double dryer and can't for the life of me figure how to get the rod into the chuck. I get the little wood sticks will work on a 2 part (or more) but how do I mount the butt end?

thanks in advance y'all.

Jerry,
I had one of these years ago until I gave it away because it was so darn noisey. If I remember it had rubber cups into which you could push a standard 1" butt cap but they did not hold very dependably. I think that I just used masking tape to temporarily tape the end of the rod to these rubber cups.
Does yours sound like it is grinding up walnuts like mine did?

Anyone have any other suggestions regarding double speed dryers?

Well I got my answer, Anglers Workshop answered me, you don't use the rubber cups, its all in the spindles, you just can't put the butt cap on till last so the spindle will fit.
