5 minute epoxy can normally be broken with heat.

If done carefully, it shouldn't pose a problem. Too much direct heat can break down the adhesives in the blank, too, so it does have to be done carefully. Putter Williston, ND Re: 5 minute epoxy

Another use for 5-10 minute epoxy might be for an epoxy finish over "test" wraps/weaves, to see the effect of epoxy on the threads.. Being new to weaving, I've found 5 min epoxy useful - better than Hard As Nails fingernail polish.
