It has begun.....

Well, it's started and I feel like a little kid at Christmas!

Today I received the last of the major components necessary to start building my first rod. Obviously at almost ten o'clock at night I had to DO something so I started by finding the spine to at least feel like I had started the process. I mean come on I had all those beautiful parts and I have to go to work tomorrow!

With that said, I know it's been said before and I'm sure it will be said again, but I would like to extend my thanks to everyone here who has helped me start down this road. For better or worse, I know I'm hooked (no pun intended) because I've already started thinking about the next rod...or two....or three.......

Thank you all again.

You have no idea what you have started. It most likely will turn into many rods, for years to come. Enjoy. It is a wonderful craft.
