Is the reel seat in the attached article available only on Cabela's rods...do any sponsors carry it?

I justlooked at your link. I have not seen anything like that before. I have fitted a lot of fishermen with an Exposed blank reel seat and have never seen anyone who normally carries two fingers in front of the trigger when casting or working a bait. I have had quite a few of the Cabelas rods in my shop for repair due to broken front grip locking mechanisms. I use the Jesse procedure of cutting the old reel seat off and stripping the cork thing off and replacing with a standard blank exposed reel seat. I do mostly saltwater stuff and would not like the aluminum front on the seat. The new Forecast reel seats have a textured feeling - almost like a light flock. I am glad to see that Cabelas thinks they have a production rod worth that much money - will help my pricing!
