Has anybody used these blanks? I was going to give em a try. The only other blanks I have built with so far are Batson, they seem to be awesome bang for the buck.

I was curious as to how the DHX blanks compare to others around the same price.

They're great rods if you get ones built under good quality control. I've had two break for no apparent reason and both were broken by the customers. Some come with funny spines. Their customer service is very slow as well. Other than that, they're great. A touch whippy but still have plnety of power. I would use the regular dual helix rather than the DHX for a spinning rod. The DHX series are better basting rods. Hope this helps.
