Whats the best guide

I'm building a Dan Craft FT 10'6"x10 wt as a switch rod. The rod will probably be used primarily in the surf for stripers. Can't decide whether to use snakes or titanium ceramics. Aside from the obvious corrosion resistance of the titanium what are the advantages/disadvantages of them as compared to snakes? Re: Whats the best guide

Ceramics are slicker, quieter and your fly line/backing will last longer. Re: Whats the best guide
