Bruce Tomaselli's First Fly Rod

You guys have been helping Bruce through his first rod building adventure. Believe me it had been an adventure. Seemed like every night he would call me with another question. Got to the point where I would answer the phone "Now what?" knowing full well it was Bruce.

Well today I had the pleasure of fishing with Bruce on Central PA's gem, Spring Creek. And yes he was fishing with his first creation, blank and components from Hook & Hackle. The rod was beautiful and handled quite well for a short rod (7 1/2') on this large limestoner. I too was fishing a new addition, a vintage 10' 5/6 wt J. Kennedy Fisher. Together we did land many nice wild brown trout with our new rods.
