i purchased a couple of 2-piece spinning rods and would like to know which brand of
ferrules to use...also what glue to use for installing the ferrules...thanks bryan...

If they're 2-piece rods, the ferrules should be an integral part of the blank. Surely you didn't buy 1960's era blanks that require metal ferrules be adhered to the sections.

they are g-loomis rods...i am new to all this i just thought you needed
ferrules...the 2 sections do go together...

You don't need anything else. The tip fits over the butt. Put a thread reinforcement wrap on the female ferrule starting as close as you can to the ferrule edge (at least within a milimeter or so) and make it snug. A thread. Make it about twice as long as the diameter happens to be at that point. That will reduce the chance of getting a split out at the ferrule edge over time.
