Doe any one know of a source for brass or gold ferrules. I have checked most of our obvious sponsers and come up empty. Thanks a lot.

Sam,

I use 24k gold plated nickle silver ferrules & reel seats on my signature bamboo rods. I use an electroplating process to plate the hardware. I also make replacement brass ferrules for restoration jobs. I usually plate these with nickle because the brass oxidizes very quickly. The 24K gold plated NS ferrules are actually cheaper to do. Let me know if I can be of any help.

Thanks Jeff,
I'm doing a sort of restoration rebuilding job using the mid section and tip section of an old rod. I'm using the old ferrule for a detachable handle. The problem is I have a reel seat I want to use that is gold and I planned to use gold eyes and tip. Thought I would to match the ferrules by changing from silver to gold or brass or maybe black. Appreciate the help.

Sam
