Adam,
Very nice looking blanks, I just had a customer buy 3 of the 7/8wt. I myself haven't had the chance to build any up, but maybe when things slow down for me I can make each length up. I would have to say these are the best buy for the dollar amount. Neal Cissel Neal's Fishing Products Re: Forecast blanks

What is the action like on these rods? Are they suitable for two handed overhead casting or is the action too slow and better suited for traditional spey casting? Thanks,

The Batson family fish the blanks they sell. The Rainshadow RXF 1308/9-3 blank I built last year fishes exactly as they discribed it would in their return e-mail to my customer's questions. Re: Forecast blanks

Adam, I'm just down to the short strokes in finishing the 11'6'' 6/7. I contacted a spey list member who built exactly the same rod and he is totally in awe of this blank. He feel that with the right line it is a rocket. The chap that sold me the blank has had several repeat customers for the different lengths. It is listed as a med/fast taper in the Batson catalogue.
