After make a couple of grips that included regular cork, regular burl cork and Andy's exotic burl cork, I came to the conclusion that when shaping the grip, regular cork disappears in a hurry because it so much softer than the burl. Andy can get his exotic burl cork in a light color, the guestion is whether there's enough interest. Given all the problems that have been noted here lately regarding the quality of regular cork, I think there might be enough interest for him to justify adding this new color to his line.

After seeing the new Exotic Cork at the Lamar Reel Seat booth in Charlotte I ordered a bunch. I decided right there to never use regular cork again as the new product is far nicer. If Andy can now add a light cork color version to the line I am all for it. When treated with U-40 cork seal these Exotics become incredibly soft. I have never found a nicer material for grips and handles.

I quit using regular cork awhile ago and switched to burl. I saw the pix of Andys cork on his web site and wasn't to sure but after seeing it in Charlotte, I fell in love with it! Pictures really don't do it justice. It is fantastic! I would be interested in the light version.
