I was just curious. I would prefer to make my rods from American made components when possible. I know Fuji guides are made in Japan. Anybody know about the American Tackle components? Re: Where are American Tackle Guides manufactured?

The Orient, as well. Very few rod guides are made here in the U.S., and perhaps no ceramic ones.

Accept for some blanks, I would be surprised if very many (if any) components are made here

Aftco stuff, most Perfection stuff and maybe a few others, are still made here. But not much along the lines of ceramic line guides or nylon type seats.

American Tackle rocks. Call and ask'em, they'll tell ya. I called with questions on size, and one of their big cheifs personally went out on the floor and took a digital caliper to abunch of their products and emailed me back the same day. Tell me he didnt have better things to do. I buy their stuff, just for that. Levi Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
