Well I finished the botom half of me flyrod and sure enough I have a couple of tacky areas. I am thinking about using permagloss to clean it up. The guides are high build so I don't need more buildup. Is this the way to go. The wraps look good, What does permagloss cover like? Does it even out like fc? Thanks Tom.

Put the rod in a warm area and give it another day? Don't know how long it has been but if it is cool it will take a little longer

Don't do that. If the finish has not set to the point where it is not tacky after 24 to 48 hours in warm room, then you need to recoat with a properly measured and mixed application of more epoxy. Just because it's high build doesn't mean you have to put it on thick - just a thin overcoat will do.
