For that kind of length and lure weight you may want to look at some of the steelhead blanks offered at the left . Not to sure about the 4 pc configuration though , a higher wt flyrod blank may work , not too sure if they will handle an ounce lure . Have fun , JHD Got Fish ? Can a 1 or 2 peace blank be made into a 4 peace?
Maybe somebody knows a dealer who would do it? I have sometimes seen suitable blanks on the Web but because I'm in Europe shipping length is a challenge. Cheers, Aivars Re: Newbie building 11' packable spinning rod

I've built a few rods similar to this for throwing spoons in the surf at Lake Erie. I've found that 6 - 8 weight fly rod blanks work great for throwing the 1/4 to 3/4 ounce spoons that I tend to use. Perhaps an 8 or 9wt would work for you. I've found that 3 and 4 pc spinning blanks are nearly impossible to find. Re: Newbie building 11' packable spinning rod

Graphite USA has a 11 ft 4 in, 4 piece 9 wt fly blank, I just don't know if it throws that heavy a weight. CTS might be able to make something up for you. Don't they make multi-piece match and coarse blanks in the UK and Europe anymore? I have a match rod thats 12 ft and a three piece, but I've had it many years. Aivars....a blank you may want to consider is the new Forecast F1166/7-4 ; a 4-piece 11' 6" Spey blank rated for 6/7 line. It should be fine for throwing spinners and wobblers to the size of fish you are targetting. I'm making one up as a centrepin float rod for large trout and small steelhead.
