Finished a St. Croix 9' 5wt. on Saturday and would like to take it out on the stream tomorrow. Used Flex Coat high built epoxy. I have read that you should wait 48 hours in one book and then someone in this forum said he gives his rods 2 weeks to cure. What should I do? Re: Epoxy Cured?

Go fishing!............ , the epoxy is plenty cured as long as the room temp it has been in was above 65 or so . I have fished rods 3 days after finnishing them , though the air temp was 80 deg. Have fun , JHD Re: Epoxy Cured?

Fishing now? Man, Everything here is still frozen over. We've got a bout a month to go to do any real fishing unless you want to drill or chip ice.
Good luck. Re: Epoxy Cured?
