Hey guys. I hope everyone is doing good. Can anybody give my some advice on glueing up a wood handle. I was planning on using rodbond, but I just wanted to get some input from you guys. As always, thank you for your help. I really appreciate it.

Hi Dan,
If by glueing up a wood handle you mean different pieces of wood before you turn it, I generally use Tightbond, although at times (depending on the wood) epoxy. If you mean gluing to the blank then I'd go with Rod Bond or one of the other products made for that purpose. Hello Daniel
Rod Bond will work well and give you a very strong bond. Just wet each surface with Rod Bond using a spatula and then using the spatula edge like a putty knife skim off the excess so that you get a thin bond. Clamp it togeather and let it cure for about 8 hours at room temp before machining. Regards Joe Kassuba His Rod Shop Joe Kassuba Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
