Thread for rods is not their main business, so I guess sponsoring here is not a big deal with them. Re: GUDEBROD

Hi Dan! We are a full-line Gudebrod dealer, but are still in the process of adding all the products to our store. Feel free to email us directly at info@rockymountainrodbuilding.com with any inquiries.

Gudebrod has never been a sponsor here. I don't seem to recall them ever being active in custom rod building outside of producing and providing some nice products.

Tom, I am confused now , Gudebrod is not active in custom rod building?
John, thanks I will visit you. Should I buy another brand ? I do not want to use a thread that is not made for custom rods, who makes HT metallic threads and those ncp threads. Tom, what brand do you use if I may ask? I need all the help I can get. Dan Re: GUDEBROD

What I meant to say is that unlike many of the other manufacturing sponsors here, Gudebrod does not actively participate in forum discussions or offer much give and take with the rod building community. They make specialty rod building products, very good ones at that. but you aren't likely to ever engage in much company discourse with regard to custom rod building.

Give RIce thread a try at Fishsticks. I think their metallic is superior to Gudebrod. Re: GUDEBROD

Along with this thread, just what are all the thread companies out there that might be available to rod builders?
I know of Gudebrod, Sulky, Rice, Madeira, Holland and the J thread folks. Are there others we need to know about producing nylon/polyester thread? Thanks, Stan Re: GUDEBROD
