Has anyone used the REC ~NSUS or the NSUSL if so what are your opnions of it,What is the difference in the outside diameter of the insert between the two,Also as far as tightening the backnut, looking at the pic on their website it looks like a very small knurling on the nut ,Is it tough to snug it up tight ?Thanks

Rich , I have used 6 of their seats in the last couple of years , they were all well made pieces of work . I own 3 of the ones that I've used and not a problem yet . I'm not sure of the specific models , but 1 was a band seat , the other was a NS for a 4 wt with a single knurled rope band with hardware, up lock , the 3rd , a salt seat which they engraved for me with a bass . All have worked flawlessly (haven't fished the slide band seat yet)............... wise choice if you have the $$$
Have fun , John

Very nice looking seats, but pricey once you upgrade to a nice insert.

Personally,if I am going go "high end" on a nickel silver seat,I go Venneri.Nicest out there by far IMHO.
