Cleaning NS and wood inserts

What does everyone here use to clean/buff up their nickel silver components and figured wood inserts (reelseats) ??????

With nickel silver hardware I use jewelers roughe (red polishing compound) and a buffing wheel on my roto tool. With wood inserts you can sand it with very fine paper and then just wax it. ( I do this on a lathe) Another method is a few light coats of Tru-Oil, sanding in between coats, another is a lite coat of Tru-Oil to bring out the grain, then apply a coat of epoxy over it to protect and shine it.. REC makes 2 cleaning cloths specific for N/S. One for heavy cleaning and one for light cleaning. I have been using them for 6 months not and they are fantastic. Christian Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
