reel seat arbors

I am in the process of mounting my reel seat and I accidently bore the arbors a little too big. It is not that bad, but not as tight as I would like. Should I wrap the blank where the arbors go with a wrap of thread? (size a will do) or shim with one wrap of masking tape, or even yet, leave it alone and let the epoxy hold it? Thanks in advance.
Dick

I've got my own little show on my bench - a bunch of rod work. Neck hurts, back hurts, fingers and hands cramping. Time to take a break....

Thanks to all who helped me. I used the thread and it seems to work. Only the fish will determine the fate of my crappie rod for my brother. He has to have a rod for each type of fish. I love it....Keeps me busy.
