Where did I see that special looking stripping guide?

Recently I saw a picture somewhere of a stripping guide that had the normal looking ring assembly but the feet looked like a large snake guide. Instead of 2 legs for the front foot and two legs for the back, this guide had one leg coming off the side of the ring for the front and another leg coming off the other side of the ring for the rear. Does anyone know who makes this guide? Thanks.

i actually LIKE the look of this stripper, much more than the traditional fly stripper style and think i'll start using them more often. pac bay offers it and it's the Model N guide. greg's custom rods and utmost are two vendors which carry them if i recall correctly, should be more if you look around.

I just took a look at some of the guides that are out. You can not guess how many, and the colors??!!
Let alone the platings, then the colors of the platings

The Pac Bay model N guide looks GREAT on light fly rods, especially with the gold rings.I put one on my 0wt SLT and it was just the ticket. It helped keep the weight down(2 legs instead of 4) and looked great with snakes.

I plan on using these on any rod under 4wt now.

I've also seen the N guides on some factory rods like the older Sage DS and Fly Logic FLO+.
