Gudebrod Finish--what is it?

I have recently used Gudebrod's regular rod finish--not the varnish or epoxy--and found it very, very easy to work with. Is it urethane? Something else? I'd appreciate knowing more, so if you know . . .

I'm not sure that Gudebrod finish you mentioned is urethane-based, but it's relly easy to work with... One more thing about Gudebrod #840: it also acts as kind of color preserver, comparing to any epoxy I ever tried, or Perma Gloss. I mean it doesn't darken thread as much as other finishes.
