Anyone else coming extra early? I'm landing in Charlotte before noon, have nothing to do until 7. Anyone gonna be around with nothing to do, let me know so we can do nothing together.

I'm pleased just to be out of NY for a few days with no worries. But it would be cool to meet up with somoene.

Just for the heck of it, check the announcement about the show above. There are several local attractions listed that you might be interested in. There is also a Bass Pro Shop located at the really huge Concord Mall just about 15 - 20 minutes north of Charlotte, although that may not be your cup of tea.

Andy Dear will be in on Thursday and some others as well. Hopefully somebody will give you a shout.

I was thinking about the Gardens, as well as bringing a set of shears to the bird sanctuary and getting a few guys feathers from exotics, lol.

I'm kind of stuck local since I won't have a car, but I have no problem walking around dowtown Charlotte on a solo mission for a few hours if it comes to that.
