I'm currently looking at blanks and have had some contact with the folks from CTS out of New Zealand and they seem very impressive as an innovative blank manufacturer. Does anyone have any experience with their blanks
and/or company? Thanks, Todd Re: CTS?

Yes, they're very, very nice blanks. Beautiful finish as well. Some very unique actions on some models.

I've got two of them in my shop; delivering one of them today after church. I can only second what Tom just said; beautiful colors that they're available in. Re: CTS?

Can anyone speak to the CCS particulars of the higher weight fly blanks? 6wt through 12 wt...I'm most interested in the Affinity series.

Like Putter and Tom I can only heap praise on this line of blanks. I haven't built the Affinity yet but have talked with the Aussie sales manager for CTS. He tells me that the affinity is the best fly rod he has ever fished with. This included other name brands such as Sage. loomis etc. I have built 4 of these now and I am sold, as you may have gathered, on these blanks and the colours they are available in. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
