A chevron is a wrap made by wrapping all the threads to one side or the other. It's not a type of thread.

Fish wraps are a combination of three wraps, one diamond flanked by a chevron with the tail made with another chevron.

If you're talking about weaves, well, it's just a weave. The type of thread your use will give it the look you desire.

Dan,
Go to the Mudhole site on the left or any of the other sponsors. Click on Books and look for the blue booklet by Flexcoat on Decorative Wraps. It costs less than $5.00. If you get hooked check out Tom's book or the books by Dale Clemens. There is a lot of info out there.
