Anyone have any real hands on experience with this swap of motors to a Custom Power Wrap unit?? I've got the H189 unit, if it matters.
Biggest questions are: (1) is it a complicated swap? Grainger offers some optional accessories, so I'm wondering if there's more to this process than just buying the 1/10 motor, pulling the old and simply replacing it with the new. and (2) Were there any issues with the difference in shaft diameters? The stock 1/15 motor has a 1/4" x 3/4" shaft diameter v. the 1/10 motor with a slightly larger 1/4" x 7/8" shaft diameter. Would this present any issues replacing the standard chuck to the motor? Thanks in advance for any info! Tony Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
