Question about RodMaker pics: Jim Upton's

I was just curious if the colorful threads in your weaves were NCP type or if you used color preserver, or both. If color preserver, any special techniques to share? I've never used the color preserver so just curious as the brightness of the colors was pretty impressive to me. Thanks..... Re: Question about RodMaker pics: Jim Upton's

They were actually even brighter than they looked in the photo. I was pushed for time and really didn't do justice to Jim's weaves with that photo. It wasn't very good but all I had in a pinch.

Phil; Those are Madeira Poloyneon #40 for the design threads and Gudebrod "C" for the wrapping thread. I'll try and post a couple of pictures to the photo page that will give a better representation of the colors. Yes, I use Color Preserver. In this case I think I used Glass Coat.
