I don't remember from last year....

I don't remember from Charlotte last year if anyone was selling fly reels and line. I remember several fly tiers and such but don't recall seeing any reels... Does anyone recall? I'll look again through the vendors list but if not I suppose I'll just have to buy a couple and have them spooled for the casting pool... Not much sense in handing someone a fly rod without a reel and matching line on it! Duh-oh. . .

I do not recall anyone selling reels of any type. I do remember that there was no tippet material or sinking tips for sale by any of the vendors....lots to look at but VERY little for sale....hopefully it will be different this year.

Actually, there was a ton of lines, reels, rods etc. Jesse Brown's alone must have had 50 reels for sale there. Of course, if you're talking spinning and casting reels then maybe not.
