I talked to Neal and he said you know everything to ask you. I have posted this question in the past. I need to know how to lay out a 6 sided chevron? What I want to know is not how to get the axis points but rather the points spaced lengthwise on the rod. I at one time did this but I can not remember how. I would be greatful for any help what so ever. Re: Question for Tom

You can do it several ways depending on the look you want. I'm not sure exactly what you're after. On a two axis wrap most usually split the centers by halves. So you could do the same thing but on 3 different sets of pairs.
If you still have the rod you did before, you could just measure what you did previously. Again, I'm not sure exactly what you're after. ......... Re: Question for Tom

A general rule of thumb is to space chevrons and diamonds is the space between the crosses is equal to the Dia of the rod where you are making the wrap......................... is that what you are looking for ?? JD Re: Question for Tom

That would give you a square pattern. Longer than diamaeter is elongated and shorter than diameter would be compressed. That may be what he is asking. I'm not sure.
