I'm triple wrapping a boat rod. I have coated the under wrap with a thin coat of Gudebrod 840 finish to hold everything in place. I plan to do the same thing with the second wrap. After the third course I plan to coat everything with LS Supreme. Will this cause me any problems? Re: Am I In Trouble?

It shouldn't. But if you're going to use the Gudebrod 840, go ahead and put on a nice coat so there's enought there to soak into the threads a bit. The Surpreme penetrates well and for a long time, but it won't go any further once it reaches the 840. So next time out, go ahead and put on the 840 like you mean it.
