8 & bait, surf rod

Check Rainshadows or All Star in the "15xx" model series. I think it comes down to
"do you want an even 50/50 ferrule or English style". If you / customer decides to go with the English style then check the MudHole offerings as well as All Star. Re: 8 & bait, surf rod

English style has a shorter butt section and long tip rather than an even 50/50 ( or 1: 1 ratio) split between but and tip. The theory
is that this allows them to make a telephone pole for the butt section and a more responsive tip. Conoflex (Rakata and Mirage series) All Star "Heavers" - 1509's with the special butt section (a bit pricey) and PurGlas are a few examples of the "English" style ... And Seeker also offers a 1 : 2 ratio blank as well in the CSU series blanks. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
