Michael,
I would have to say that just about anybody could have made them. Do you have any idea of their age? Any markings at all? If not, and this is just me, I would give them a good feel and if they don't feel good, use them as reamers or practice stuff/personal rods. If they feel good, I'd use them as gifts or cut them down for kid rods. I certainly wouldn't sell them off to anybody. Re: Rod Blank Question

You haven't given us much to work on. There are no numbers, or anything to go by written on, or taped on the blanks? If not, they could be from any number of places. Spencer Re: Rod Blank Question

I remember when Shakespeare was selling what they called "Cherry Sticks" about 7 or 8 years ago, but those were production rods (mostly graphite) and probably not sold as blanks per se. The answer (probably a factory in Korea or China), while curious, may have little effect on your application. LOL, -Cliff Hall- Re: Rod Blank Question

If you can take the finish off a small section, you can tell what they are made off. Then CC them to find out what you can use them for, action and lure weight Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 02/08/2005 08:49AM by bill boettcher. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
