Hi all! Just wanted to give those of you in the Calgary area a heads-up that The Rocky Mountain Rodbuilding Supply Co. will be officially opening its doors this weekend at the Western Canadian Fly Fishing Exposition at the Max Bell Arena. We'll be sharing a booth with G&L FlyCraft (Booth 68 and 69).

So if you're thinking of coming to the show, please drop by--we'd love to meet you in person! You can shake some Dan Craft, CF Burkheimer, All Star, AND THE NEW RAINSHADOW sticks as well. We'll also have some show specials on including a few of the discontinued RX8 blanks if you want a smokin' deal on a great blank.

Hope to see you there!

John

Any chance of having you weigh the Dan Craft blanks that you have listed on your website?

Nice looking site by the way!

Hi Ken! Sorry we didn't get to meet! We do have a few excellent blanks in that configuration, but I'm not actually sure what rod you're referring to in the "same data given above made by sage" part. I can tell you the new Rainshadow RX8+ blanks are maybe the finest performance blanks I've ever encountered, and are offered in a 4pc 9' 6wt and 9'6" 6wt. In my honest opinion, I've never cast a Sage or any other brand name blank that came close to feeling and performing like these do. They are INCREDIBLE. You can see the lineup on our site under "Compare our Blanks" and link over to the store for pricing.

You can't go wrong with a Dan Craft, either, so let us know what criteria/data you're looking for specifically and we can steer you to the right blank from the lines we carry or even if we don't carry it, what blank would be our suggestion based on your desires. You're welcome to email us directly if that's easier, or we're happy to dialogue here, too! :)

All the best--and thanks for dropping by the booth!
