When using NCP thread, size A and size D. Each separate weaves. What is the length and how tall is a weave with 105 turns and 28 threads? In millimeters please. I think I got my calculations messed up. Thank in advance!! Re: Weave length and height???

Jim,
With A, you'll see right in the neighborhood of 4mm X 15mm. With D, it'll be around 8mm X 30mm. D is almost twice the size of A. The amount of tension you apply to each of the threads and how well you pack will change the dimensions, but not enough to matter as far as measurements go. Those will be pretty close in the end result. Hope it helps give you an idea of what you are trying to do Re: Weave length and height???

Thanks Mick! It's what I thought. My calculations were wrong. Re: Weave length and height???

when I do A weaves I divide the number of turns by 4.75, a weave 105 turns would be about 22 mm long, never tried to figure out the width Re: Weave length and height???
