We are really pleased that Bill Batson from Batson Enterprises, Darrin Heim from American Tackle and Tom Brown from Pacific Bay will all be joining the rest of us to talk about and demonstrate their new products at the Northwest rod builders get together. Those attending will be able to talk to and ask any question they want of these three knowledgeable gentlemen.
By next week we should have the schedule of demonstrations/presentations all worked out. This get together is going to be very educational and a lot of fun for we left coast folks and anyone else that would like to join us. Re: More on the Northwest rod builders get together

Fred,
the dates are the 8th, 9th & 10th of April. We are really looking forward to seeing everyone there Here is the post that Emory made last week. The rod builders get together is coming together really well. There have been over 40 so far that have committed to be there but there is still room for more. If you are planning to come send an e-mail to Todd Vivian to confirm that you will be there ( [email protected]). There are still a couple of opening for the BYOB (Build Your Own Blank) session on the Thursday the 7th of April prior to the get together on the 8th, 9th, and 10th of April. The schedule for the presentations and demonstrations will be available soon. For those coming from out of town there will be driving directions soon and anyone who is flying into Portland (PDX) and needs a ride from PDX to Woodland, which is about 25 miles north, send an e-mail to either Todd or myself. Here are three local motels, two within walking distance for those that will be staying over night. Best Western (360) 225-1000 Econo Lodge (360) 225-6548 Lewis River Inn (360) 225-6257 Todd tells me that the Lewis River Inn has had the best rates in the past and has some rooms with a view of the river.
